Description
VEGF / VEGF-A / VEGF-D Testing
This test measures circulating levels of vascular endothelial growth factors (VEGF), including VEGF-A and VEGF-D, in blood. These proteins are involved in the formation of blood vessels (angiogenesis) and lymphatic vessels (lymphangiogenesis).
What the markers mean:
VEGF (general VEGF measurement): reflects overall vascular endothelial growth factor activity
VEGF-A: primarily associated with blood vessel growth and increased vascular permeability
VEGF-D: associated with lymphatic vessel growth and may be elevated in certain lymphatic or proliferative disorders
2x Serum (Centrifuged and Frozen)
This test is carried out by ArminLabs, a DAKKs, CLIA, and CAP-certified laboratory in Germany. The shipping/courier cost (added at checkout) includes the DHL Medical Express packaging and paperwork for customs.
