Sample Type

Fasting-state blood draw required.

This test requires centrifuged EDTA plasma.

Important: The plasma must be separated and frozen at -20°C or below for 3–4 hours before shipping. Specialised frozen-sample packaging is provided for transport.

Note: Samples that are delayed, not kept cold, or exhibit visible haemolysis are typically rejected by the referral testing laboratory.
