Description
Toxocara canis is a nematode whose larvae can cause visceral or ocular larva migrans in humans. Infection occurs through ingestion of embryonated eggs from contaminated soil or hands.
This test detects IgG antibodies against T. canis, indicating exposure and may be used to support the diagnosis of toxocariasis in conjunction with clinical presentation and imaging.
This test is carried out by ArminLabs, a DAKKs, CLIA, and CAP-certified laboratory in Germany. The shipping/courier cost of £50 (added at checkout) includes the DHL Medical Express packaging and paperwork for customs.
