Description
First immunoassay for persistent forms
The TickPlex assay is conducted based on an ELISA. Compared to other ELISA assays, this test includes a new antigen for Borrelia persistent forms (round bodies).
Testing with TickPlex Basic detects antibodies against Borrelia burgdorferi (including persistent forms / round bodies) using the more sensitive and specific ELISA compared to all previously available IFT testing methods.
The TickPlex is an accredited test and can be used in various stages of disease. With its high sensitivity of approximately 95% and specificity of approximately 98%, it outperforms comparable IFT testing methods to date.
Information about the certification of the TickPlex:
Tezted ISO 13485 Certificate
