Description
Strongyloides stercoralis is an intestinal nematode causing strongyloidiasis. Infection occurs via skin penetration by larvae in contaminated soil and can lead to gastrointestinal, pulmonary, or disseminated disease, especially in immunocompromised hosts.
This test detects IgG antibodies specific to S. stercoralis, indicating exposure, and may be used to support the diagnosis of strongyloidiasis.
This test is carried out by ArminLabs, a DAKKs, CLIA, and CAP-certified laboratory in Germany. The shipping/courier cost of £50 (added at checkout) includes the DHL Medical Express packaging and paperwork for customs.
