*Potassium – Important Processing Note
Potassium is predominantly intracellular. Delays in processing may result in cellular leakage and falsely elevated potassium levels (pseudohyperkalaemia). To minimise inaccurate results, we recommend timely centrifugation and separation of the serum sample (gold top) after collection.
