Phytobox 1 is a plant-based dietary supplement containing monolaurin derived from coconut, and Baikal skullcap also known as ‘golden root’.
Baikal skullcap (Scutellaria baicalensis) is a species of flowering plant in the Lamiaceae (mint) family. A preparation from the root, called Huang-Qin, has been used as a traditional medicine in China for more than 2,000 years and is now listed officially in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia. The golden yellow colour comes from its high flavonoid content.
