Description
This liver function test evaluates key enzymes involved in liver health and function.
It includes GGT (Gamma-Glutamyl Transferase), which can indicate bile duct or liver damage; GPT (Glutamate Pyruvate Transaminase / ALT), commonly used to assess liver cell injury; and GOT (Glutamate Oxaloacetate Transaminase / AST), which helps evaluate liver function and may also reflect muscle or heart conditions.
Together, these markers assist in detecting liver inflammation, damage, and disorders.
