Description
Leishmania infantum is a protozoan parasite transmitted by sandflies, causing visceral leishmaniasis. Infection can lead to fever, hepatosplenomegaly, and immunosuppression.
This test detects IgG antibodies against L. infantum, indicating exposure and may be used to support the diagnosis of visceral leishmaniasis.
This test is carried out by ArminLabs, a DAKKs, CLIA, and CAP-certified laboratory in Germany. The shipping/courier cost of £50 (added at checkout) includes the DHL Medical Express packaging and paperwork for customs.
