Description
Entamoeba histolytica is a protozoan parasite causing amebiasis, ranging from asymptomatic colonization to invasive intestinal or hepatic disease. Infection occurs via ingestion of cysts in contaminated food or water.
This test detects IgG antibodies specific to E. histolytica, indicating past or current exposure and supporting possible diagnosis of invasive amebiasis when interpreted alongside clinical and laboratory findings.
This test is carried out by ArminLabs, a DAKKs, CLIA, and CAP-certified laboratory in Germany. The shipping/courier cost of £50 (added at checkout) includes the DHL Medical Express packaging and paperwork for customs.
