Burbur™ is a full spectrum extract from the leaf of Manayupa (Desmodium molliculum), and Pinella™ is derived from the stem of Anise (Pimpinella spp.).
Manayupa (Desmodium molliculum) is in the Fabaceae family of plants, and is native to the Peruvian Andes at 1,000–3,500 meters above sea level, though it can also be found from Mexico to Central and South America. Its leaves are rich in flavonoids including quercetin, kaempferol, and isoflavones; phenolic compounds; indole alkaloids; terpenoids; tannins and saponins.
Pimpinella (Pimpinella spp.) species, of which Anise (Pimpinella anisum) is the most well-known, typically produce essential oils rich in bioactive compounds, as well as polyphenols and flavonoids, coumarins, and terpenoids.
