Description
IgG1 is the most abundant subclass, comprising about 60–70% of the total IgG.
IgG1 is particularly effective against protein antigens, such as viral proteins, bacterial toxins, and some fungal elements. It plays a crucial role in neutralizing viruses and toxins and activating the classical pathway of the complement system.
IgG subclasses can also be ordered collectively: IgG subclasses (IgG1, IgG2, IgG3, IgG4)
