Description
Ascaris lumbricoides and A. suum are intestinal nematodes that cause ascariasis. Infection occurs via ingestion of embryonated eggs from contaminated food, water, or soil.
This test detects IgG antibodies specific to Ascaris species, indicating exposure and may be used to support diagnosis in patients with compatible clinical findings.
This test is carried out by ArminLabs, a DAKKs, CLIA, and CAP-certified laboratory in Germany. The shipping/courier cost (added at checkout) includes the DHL Medical Express packaging and paperwork for customs.
