Description

The soluble interleukin-2 receptor (sIL-2R) represents the receptor for IL-2 produced by T lymphocytes.

The concentration of sIL-2R in the serum is a measure of the activation of the T lymphocytes and thus of activation of cellular immunity.

Indication: Activity assessment of sarcoidosis and rheumatoid arthritis, early detection of rejection reactions after organ transplantation, progress assessment of T-cell lymphomas/leukemias.
