This test measures IgG antibodies directed against tissue transglutaminase (tTG), an enzyme found in various tissues in the body.
Total Immunoglobulin A (IgA)
A total IgA test measures the overall concentration of IgA in the blood. Immunoglobulin A (IgA) is an antibody produced by the immune system. It plays an important role in protecting mucosal surfaces, including the lining of the digestive and respiratory tracts.
